How can film be used as a medium to affect social change? And how can the internet change the way activists impact their audiences?
Film for Social Change will explore a diverse range of activist viral video, from a culture jam against the working conditions at American Apparel stores (featuring a cameo by real-life Harold Chorney, father of AA CEO Dov); to a Plateau animal rescue worker caring for a pet pig and changing her community is the process; to a group of urban artists who took on Chevrolet and won, audiences will hear the first-hand experiences of filmmakers who are using viral video to make a difference.
Followed by a Q & A from infringement festival founder Donovan King and filmmaker and rapper Jay Manafest.
